I usually wait until January to finalize my best purchases, but barring any last minute finds, this list of products is complete. Every year there are a few purchases that stand out. The things I wear or use the most. Without further ado, here are my best products of 2019. P.S. These would all make great Christmas gifts!
BEST PRODUCTS OF 2019
ONE // Madewell Zip Top Transport Tote: If I had known how much I’d love this bag, I would have bought it much sooner. Some highlights: it’s the perfect day to day size, the crossbody leaves you hands-free, and it isn’t so expensive that I worry about setting it on the floor. I love it so much, I dedicated an entire post to it.
TWO // Simple Cake: I never considered baking a cake from scratch until I came across the author of Simple Cake on Instagram. She made it look so easy! On a whim, I ordered her cookbook and haven’t looked back. Some of my favorite memories of this year were baking cakes with Lawson and Sybil, including Sybil’s birthday cake.
THREE // Amazon Nightgown: The dress that took the internet by storm. While it’s not technically a nightgown, this dress feels like you’re wearing one. This is one of very few dresses post-kids that I can wear and feel good in. It’s $30, comes in a ton of colors with Prime shipping. I’m already looking forward to wearing it again next summer.
FOUR // Halogen Tank: A late season entrant, I initially bought this tank to wear under an eyelet shirt. Turns out it’s the perfect base layer piece for Colorado winters. I now have it in nude and black and still have to pull it out of the dirty clothes once or twice a week!
It’s too soon to call, but an honorable mention needs to go to my J. Crew Teddy Sherpa Topcoat. Since buying it last month, I’ve worn it more than any other coat. I almost want it in another color. It’s warm and feels like I’m wrapped up in a big blanket.
