One of my favorite breakfast splurges is a German pancake. I have no idea where it gets its name, but I can tell you it is delicious. The ingredients are probably all items you have on hand. It’s perfect for a last minute breakfast! Whenever we’re together as a family, we usually make one or two. I have lots of fond memories enjoying this breakfast with them!
German Pancake
5-6 tbsp. butter
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In oven, melt butter in 9×13 pan. Blend together remaining ingredients. Pour into pan with butter. Bake 20-25 minutes until fluffy and golden. Serve with fresh berries, maple syrup or your other favorite topping!
