Welcome back to the 1 shirt, 4 outfits mini-series (see first two outfits here and here). Today I’m wearing the J. Crew Keeper chambray shirt over a maxi dress. I love my maxi dresses, but sometimes they are a little too casual or revealing for the office, especially the ones with spaghetti straps. Throwing the chambray shirt over it makes it office appropriate and is a great layering piece for the frigid air conditioning or when the temperatures cool at night.

When I was in Minnesota, we took a family trip to the Chateau St. Croix winery. It was my first visit and I have to say I was impressed! The Chateau itself is beautiful. You could just as easily find it in Napa. It was such a nice day that we bought a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers and relaxed on their back patio looking over the grounds.
I just realized I didn’t take any photos of the maxi dress without the shirt. In case anyone is interested, the dress is a ribbed cotton, racerback style. Sorry about that!
