This week has flown by even faster than normal. Monday felt like the weekend, Tuesday felt like Monday, Wednesday we didn’t leave the house because Sybil was sick. All of a sudden it’s Thursday night and I’m sitting down to write this post wondering what I did this week.
Last weekend we had the perfect snowfall in Vail. It was so pretty and light. We stayed at Hotel Talisa and walked 1.5 miles into Vail Village in the snow. We had new gear to keep us toasty. It was nice to just wander into shops and restaurants.
Are you hosting for Thanksgiving? Jim’s family is coming to visit. We’re really excited to see them and bake a turkey with all the fixings. I will be fully utilizing this Thanksgiving cooking schedule. Making sure everything is ready at the same time is not my strong suit!
This weekend my girlfriend is coming to visit. The kids and I are so excited to see her. It’s been way too long. We’re planning on a pizza and movie night on Saturday while it snows outside. Then on Sunday we’re leaving the kids with Jim to check out some Denver spots that are on my list.
Gift guides will be out in full force next week starting with books for everyone in the family, my wish list and gifts under $50. If there’s anything else you’d like to see, let me know in the comments!
Whatever you’re up to this weekend, I hope it’s a fun one!
HIGH POINT:
We started off the week by skiing for a few hours on our way home from Vail. It was fun and quite funny too (see my instagram post if you haven’t already).
LOW POINT:
On Tuesday night Sybil got her first stomach bug. She threw up all over her crib, which is always a treat in the middle of the night. Luckily it was a one time bug.
FIND OF THE WEEK:
I love holiday pajamas. So much so that I created a holiday shop just for pajamas (under “Shop By” select Holiday Pajamas). It includes options for the whole family. Gap already has 50% off plus an additional 10% off if you’re a cardholder. I ordered these pants for myself and this pajama set for Lawson.
