Fall Nail Polish

nail polish for fall

neutrals: essie take it outside, essie parka perfect, essie marshmallow

blues: essie style cartel, butter big smoke, butter royal navy, essie bobbing for baubles, opi incognito in sausalito

everything else: opi nein! nein! nein! ok fine!, essie devil’s advocate, essie bordeaux, butter british racing green

Now that the weather is finally getting a little cooler here (at least in the mornings and evenings!), I’m ready to transition from summer brights to dark polishes. It’s no surprise that I’m drawn to dark blues. I’ve mentioned my love for essie bobbing for baubles in the past and it remains a fall/winter favorite. I was a fan of white polish all summer and believe it can make the transition in a slightly softer white, such as essie marshmallow. As for green, I don’t think I’ve ever worn it, but british racing green by butter london might convince me otherwise. The deep green would stand out amongst all the other fall colors.

My go to spots for essie and OPI polish are Target and Ulta. They both have a great selection and consistent pricing, although Ulta sometimes has a buy 2, get 1 free special. I haven’t tried butter london yet, but I’ve seen it at both Sephora and Nordstrom (I also noticed it is carried at Ulta). It’s more expensive so I’d need to love it to splurge.
