Last week I shared my summer skin and body care routine. This week I’m back with the 8 products that make up my summer beauty routine, which honestly doesn’t differ too much throughout the year.
Similar to my skin and body care routine, I keep it pretty simple. It’s been my intention for years to wear sunscreen on a daily basis. It wasn’t until I started using the Suntegrity natural moisturizing face sunscreen that I actually did it. I use a tinted version, which gives me just enough coverage. Of course, my undereye circles have only gotten worse in the past 15 months. I swear by the Cle de Peau concealer because it never dries out or settles in my creases.
Next I throw on a little Nars Orgasm blush and MAC paint pot in painterly (I’ll switch both of these out for more natural products when I run out). I purchased the Glossier Boy Brow after hearing Liz rave about it. I only wish I would have ordered two of them. It combines the brow gel and pencil I used to use into one product that gives my brows exactly what I want. Then I curl my lashes and swipe on some per-fekt mascara. If I’m actually heading out the door, I’ll add ILIA lipstick in Nobody’s Baby and lip gloss in Peek a Boo. I am not a lipstick person at all, but I love the ILIA in Nobody’s Baby and would re-buy it in an instant.
And if I’m going all out, I’ll add eyeshadow and highlighter (bareMinerals Stroke of Light eye brightener and BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector).
There you have it, my entire beauty routine in 8 easy steps! Do you have a minimal beauty routine in the summer or year-round?
great list and routine!
I haven’t heard of a few of those product so I’ll have to look into them. I love discovering new brands.
Isn’t it fun to find new products?!
I have been looking for a good makeup routine for the summer. I just moved to AZ and I swear the heat has zapped all of my energy to even put makeup on.
Welcome to Arizona! I typically keep it pretty simple and even more so in the summer. This heat can be too much!
