Happy Friday, especially if it’s a long weekend for some of you!
The weather has been pretty fantastic the past few days. Sunny, warm, but not too hot, and cool in the evenings. We’ve gone outside both before and after naps almost every day soaking it up while we can.
I started a new book this week. I’m only 40 pages in but so far I’m intrigued by Pachinko. I’ll let you know more next week!
You may remember mentioning that in an effort to grow my eyebrows in I stopped plucking or waxing them. I made it a year and while they did grow in more, they just looked like a hot mess. Yesterday Jim got done with school early and I ran out to get a brow wax at Credo. There’s something about clean brows that just makes me feel put together. A fresh manicure and pedicure does the same. It was also my first time out alone since my mom was here almost two weeks ago, which made it feel extra indulgent.
This weekend we’re heading to the beach and maybe looking for an Easter egg hunt. I’m pretty excited to play Easter bunny for Lawson and Sybil on Sunday morning. They’ll find an assortment of books (Click, Clack, Peep), toys and this tee, hat and swimsuit in their baskets!
HIGH POINT:
There wasn’t anything super special about our week, but it was a solid one. I felt good about getting out of the house, working out a few times and drinking enough water. Sometimes it’s the little things in life.
LOW POINT:
I cracked the screen on my phone after dropping it a few too many times. Oh and it took an average of 90 minutes to get two kids to sleep this week. So there’s that.
FIND OF THE WEEK:
Jim gave me a set of Away packing cubes (I have the set of 6) for Christmas. It’s not an exaggeration to say they’ve changed my life. I generally pack for Lawson, Sybil and me. The packing cubes keep me organized! Use this link for $20 off your first Away suitcase.
