Growing up in Minnesota, warm and cozy coats are a necessity during the long winters. Even though I’ve lived in Arizona for over ten years, I still love coats and pick up a new one at least once a year. While it doesn’t get cold here by Minnesota standards, I do find a reason to wear my coats throughout the winter months.
I first looked at the J. Crew Lady Day coat last year and can’t get it out of my mind. This blue is amazing. You also can’t go wrong with a classic navy or black. For something a little less formal, Ann Taylor or Loft versions would be a great addition to your wardrobe. The wrap coat by Pim & Larkin is outside my normal comfort zone. It’s always good to stretch your style sometimes, right?! Which one is your favorite?
