Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Happy May Day! It’s such a clique to say, but how is it already May??! We have flowers blooming and snow falling here in Colorado. It’s so strange after living in Arizona and California for 15 years.

Mother’s Day is 12 days away. I gave Jim a little reminder last weekend. Lawson said he’s going to give me a heart for Mother’s Day. Really, what more could I ask for?

Being Lawson and Sybil’s mother is my greatest gift in life. It’s crazy and frustrating and chaotic and exhausting. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I do love me a good gift though and Mother’s Day is no exception. I work my ass off for those kids every day and of course I want to be recognized! :)

If you’re looking for ideas for the mamas in your life, here are 9 of my Mother’s Day gift ideas.

ONE // Indie Lee Bath Soak: For Christmas one of my girlfriends gave me a bath soak. It was the perfect gift! A bath soak feels totally indulgent and is something I normally wouldn’t buy for myself. I heard Indie Lee on the Bad on Paper podcast and was inspired by her story and brand.

TWO // Gal Meets Glam Collection Dress: I’ve had a Gal Meets Glam Collection dress on my wish list since they launched last year. I have a really hard time finding dresses that fit me and my softball sized fibroid, but I think this one could work. How cute would it be with my go to Birkenstock sandals and Cult Gaia Ark bag?!

THREE // AirPods: I’ve officially stolen Jim’s AirPods. I use them almost every day for listening to music or podcasts when I run, the occasional CPE webcast while making the kiddos lunch and random phone calls. I love that I can wander around the house while still listening to my webcast or participating on a call.

FOUR // Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask: This my all time favorite face mask (followed closely by Beautycounter’s Balancing Facial Mask). It’s so moisturizing. I wear it as an overnight mask once a week and will even layer it under my makeup if I need extra hydration.

FIVE // Olive & June Nail Box: I’ve been a fan of Olive & June’s founder since I became aware of the brand a few years ago. I’ve gotten some of my best manicures at their gorgeous LA salons. They recently launched their own 7-free nail polish and an at-home manicure kit.

SIX // Lake Pajamas set: My absolute favorite pjs are Lake Pajamas. They are incredibly soft and I love their traditional striped patterns. The newest collection includes this solid set with the perfect colors for summer.

SEVEN // The Bee & the Fox sweatshirt: I debated buying this sweatshirt for a year. Now that I’ve had it for six months, I can’t believe I waited so long. It’s my coziest sweatshirt. I wear it weekly as a main outfit or with my pajama pants at night.

EIGHT // Madewell Small Transport Tote: When I traveled with the kids a couple of weeks ago, I really wanted a crossbody bag that I could fit into a suitcase/backpack when flying. Three of my girlfriends have this bag and rave about it. My other option is the Cuyana Small Carryall Tote, which I wish came in a caramel color.

NINE // Outdoor Voices Hudson shorts: I ran five days last week and by the 4th day I was wearing pre-baby running shorts that just don’t fit anymore. So I’d love a new pair of running shorts for the summer months. I’d also take a new sports bra, tank (I like the high neckline so I don’t have to worry about too much sun exposure) and socks, but I don’t want to get greedy. ;)

If you need more options, past Mother’s Day gifts that I use almost daily are my Maya Brenner initial necklace, Cuyana card case, Birkenstock sandals and Cuyana fedora hat.
