Lately I’ve really felt like a mom. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s left me feeling frumpy. While I have a much better handle on my style (neutrals with pops of pink), I’m still figuring out what works best for my days chasing after a toddler, nursing a baby, going to the park and still feeling good about myself.
This outfit doesn’t exactly work for chasing after kids, but it does make me feel good and is perfect for a casual date night! I picked up the J. Crew striped bell sleeves top on a whim, unsure if it really worked for me. I tried it on a few times at home and fell more and more in love with it. The striped bell sleeves are on trend and the pink color stays within my style.
I mentioned it on Instagram, but this Cult Gaia bag is quite possibly the most impractical purchase for a mother of two small kids that I’ve ever made. It is really popular on Instagram and sells out within days. It seems everyone and their sister is buying it. All of this and I still didn’t care. Some items have the ability to take me away to another destination and feeling. With this bag, my sun kissed self is strolling along the beach, holding hands with my luv without a care in the world. It was worth every penny.
