Valentine’s Day Fashion

dresses to wear on valentine's day

from top left: tildon via nordstrom (only $48!); banana republic (on sale!); re:named via shopbop; asos; h&m

I’m back, did you miss me yesterday?! I had so much fun being showered with love from my friends that I wore myself out and couldn’t find the energy to finish my post. I felt like a zombie watching the Grammy’s last night. It might have been my exhaustion, but I wasn’t impressed with the performances. Anyone else feel the same?

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day or let the day pass without much of a thought? I’m somewhere in the middle. We don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day with a fancy dinner and flowers. I’d rather do those things on another day. I do love any excuse to dress up though! Since it falls on a weekend this year, it’s a great excuse to join in the fun. Whether you’re going out on a date or planning a night out with girlfriends, I’ve got some dress options for you.

I don’t have any red in my wardrobe, but you can never go wrong with a little black dress. If you live in a cold weather location, add a pair of tights and black heels to stay toasty. Pink is another fun option for Valentine’s Day…it represents the day almost as much as the typical red! This blue dress from Banana Republic also comes in white and reminds me of this dress that I bought and loved last year. Take a classic grey or blue dress, add a fun statement necklace and heels and you’ve got a sexy outfit that you’ll be comfortable wearing all night!

  1. I really like the dress in the middle, I’m really into blue this year and I think it could look super pretty with a bright pink necklace.
