This week was spent getting back into our groove after a couple of weeks away. Pediatrician appointment, swim and music class, lots of home cooked dinners, a visit to the zoo and late afternoons playing in the yard. It’s been a full week! We’re trying to enjoy our beautiful weather as much as possible before it hits 100 degrees.
Holy moly, how is it April 1st tomorrow? That means my baby turns 2 next weekend. His second birthday could be more emotional for me than his first. I have the distinct feeling he’s growing up too fast. We’ve been practicing singing happy birthday and blowing out candles to prepare. :)
I’m kicking off the weekend with a lunch date today and a manicure/pedicure tomorrow morning. I can’t even remember my last nail salon visit. It’s been far too long, especially since it’s already sandal season here.
If I can swing it, I’m stopping at Madewell tomorrow to take advantage of their sale. This shirt, this tank (I already have it in grey) and this striped tank are on my list. I also love this striped dress, but am self conscious about wearing most dresses right now.
