What I Wore This Week: Quarantine Edition

Needless to say, I haven’t been putting as much effort into my daily outfits the past month. When I plan on working out later in the day, sometimes it seems like too much work to wear real clothes for a few hours. After a couple of weeks I found myself craving normalcy. For me that includes getting dressed in the morning even if I change again in 3 hours.

In no particular order, here are a few outfits I’ve worn the past month.

Striped Shirt Dress

dress // sweater // sandals (old, m gemi) // tote

I was too ambitious in embracing spring with a sleeveless dress. So I added my go to sweater as an extra layer.

Birkenstock Arizona Shearling Sandals

shirt (old, j crew)  // jeans // sandals

Lululemon Legging

jacket (old, nau clothing) // leggings // sneakers (similar) // hat (similar)

Jim is really good about getting us out of the house on the weekend. We go for a longer drive and find a safe place to get out of the car for a bit. Lawson and Sybil are into “hiking” and love exploring. This photo was taken at 10,000 feet elevation with a side of finger in the frame.

Saint James Striped Shirt

shirt // jeans // sandals

The necklace makes the whole outfit.

Chocolate Cake

shirt // jeans // apron

I made a chocolate cake for Lawson’s birthday. Sybil was just as excited to eat it as Lawson!

Clare V Purse Strap

sweatshirt // shorts // sandals // tote // bag strap

During a recent Clare V sale, I kept checking the site looking for something to purchase (yes, this is a terrible habit). I didn’t want or need a new bag because I still love the Madewell tote I bought last year. Then I saw the bag straps and knew it would be a perfect way to update my bag for the warmer months.
